By Dr. Stanislav O'Jack-
As for the definition of "intelligence," the Webster Dictionary describes or defines the word as meaning "the capacity to apprehend facts." Personally, it is my position that "intelligence" is ONE - one in our total species - and that this intelligence is applicable to a variety of learning and manifested traits as related in toto to the species - the Homo sapiens - wherein it is the species itself that possess all of the intelligence placed there by an Unknown Creative Source. What differs between each human as related to the total species and to oneself as related to a human's unique intelligence is the individual's personal specific portion of the overall human species' traits or verities, actual and potential, contained in the total Homo sapiens species, yet differing from individual to individual in a ranked hierarchy called intelligence or potential. The latter as identified by many professional Mental Health's great minds, past and present, especially the models put forth by the late Carl Jung and the many Prophets of The Creative Force often spoken of as God under the auspice of the term Religion - the latter word which means to "bind together, to make one, and to make all of anything "one" much in keeping with the Physics concept or schema of "The Unified Universe Theory" and the "Entanglement Model" - both that put forth the purported "capacity to apprehend," thus that we as humans can therefore interpolate that we are never separated, since "we" are all of "one" species.......and merely differ in degrees and chosen applications of "differing" intelligence aspects.
Dr. Jung was, as I have detected and interpreted from his writings of models and assessment systems - both the practical and intuitive ones - was a person who had both a left and right hemisphere high-level dominance of awareness and differing abilities, and thus the latter allowed him to use the awareness of two distinctive realms simultaneously - his coupled rational and intuitive minds which in reality are one and the same. Even he, Dr. Jung, spoke of his own limitations, and thus, designed what today is known as - among other tests he had designed, developed and that were precursors to those assessment models in existence today -the Myer-Briggs Assessment System. The Myer-Briggs Assessment System is designed to interpret the hierarchy of abilities for each given person (16 differing types) so one can focus her or his energy where it can be best applied: one intelligence applied in multitude of areas and in numerous ways such as with the left and right brain endeavors involving linear analytical thinking (i.e.,engineering and complex calculations) or that of an intuitive nature (i.e., art, whether audio-music or visual sketches) and that the latter Intelligence is the basis for discrete selection upon which or with which to apply growth-energy in one of the optimal psyche aspects peculiar to each individual. Intelligence is one and what varies is the multiple areas in which intelligence is applied weather in an Indic 7 Chakra schema or a 9 Intelligence model or a 15 Awareness Level paradigm as found in physics' constructs. The above and the following constitutes being the understanding of a person, this writer, who is tested as Dyslexic and assessed as Autistic.
Conjoined to all of the above, far beyond a mono optic view, is the most recent outlined overall Religious Educational
system as dispensed in years 1844 and 1863 wherein is stated that intelligence, as laid out by The One, is a single something that has in its overall form five major aspects that still constitutes being a one source. Oxymoron-like, what is implied is that the mind is one, and it differs from the brain, and it is the brain through which the mind functions via the sensory world's accessible specific brain-cells, or as related to computer language, through the storage bits and bytes of icons. If all is one, and there is a Primary Source of and for all, then I interpret that that which created me and the other extant 6,500,000,000 humans alive today, as put forth by The Designer's spoke-person - The Prophet, the mind is one though it has five different specific functions in that it has the varied intelligence to: think (to process information), it has a storage or retention aspect (memory), it has a comprehension factor (understanding), it has a knowledge facet (information) and a quasi-like something called a Common faculty, a (gossamer) bridge that transmits all of the latter to and through the physical brain of the sensory world as stemming from the non sensory or intuitive realm wherein is all knowledge - past, present and future - and therein all is transmitted to the lesser or recipient-created one mind. If The Designer states there is just ONE MIND and one intelligence, and that there merely is the multiplicity and complexity of application, then where do I draw the line as a Dyslexic?
In many studies, it has been deduced that the greatest number of signals or impulses entering the human's intelligence spectrum is the visual system, and that the one-brain-aspect that best stores the information in both the brain's icons and in the mind's intelligent-information-reservoir is the kinesthetic one. That is why I like shaking hands. The energy from one's palm allows a brief sensory dowsing opportunity with which to assess both the other persons overall energy and her or his mind-set. Strange? Of course, and that is what constitutes a right-brain intuitive-assessment-factor.
Each human's progeny arrives on planet Earth with a potential higher than her or his parents, which thus is an opulent sign of our species' growth rate as it traverses from conception (creative thought) to inception (creative action) to birth (realm change) to infancy (physical manifestation) to childhood (development) to pubescence (a transition) to adolescence (tests, search and profound difficulties) and ultimately to maturity (more exploration and application) while the Homo sapiens species is still existent on planet earth.
Dr. O'Jack has worked extensively with various types of "special needs" persons, with various schools centered on raising the learning curve for those people, young and old, who struggle with that which tends to be a restrictive and predominate worldwide traditional educational paradigm.
He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology; two Handicap Counseling Certifications with which to employ aid for and training with those who have physical and mental challenges; a Professional Mediator's Certification conjoined to a Supervisory status; former Headmaster of a private independent school dedicated to identifying and accelerating the learning abilities for the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of children with a focus on their individual gifted nature; co-started two private schools for the mentally and spiritually gifted children; has an academic and professional background in Mechanical Engineering, in Architecture and Design (performed work for Mr. Yamasaki who had designed the "late" Twin Towers in New York), in General Construction as a Contractor, in Industrial Design (did some brief contract work for the notable Charles Eames), was Headmaster of Happy Valley School of J. Kkrishnamurti in Ojai, California, and currently works in Mental Health with an emphasis on Family Systems.
